Mobility Shops in Walsall and Wolverhampton

The wheelchair man has become a familiar feature at The Hollybush over the past 2 years. Weekend visitors to the garden centre have got used to seeing wheelchairs, walking aids and mobility scooters displayed by local firm Essington Mobility.
After working for a large mobility company for 12 years, David Foote from Essington saw the need for a local business to supply local people and set up Essington Mobility. With the ageing population more and more people can benefit from aids and equipment designed to help maintain independence.
David said; ´We provide a professional, personal and friendly service, which is really important to our customers. We´re happy to provide free advice too. If we can´t help with a solution to a problem, we probably know someone who can. We work closely with voluntary sector organizations and healthcare professionals. In addition to providing a service that´s second to none we know that people like a bargain. With low overheads we can keep our prices keen without compromising on quality. We only sell reliable products from leading brands.
People were originally surprised to see us in a garden centre; it´s not the most obvious place to go looking for a wheelchair. But after exhibiting at Hollybush for 2 years we´ve raised awareness to the point where people go there specifically to see us. So now we´ve opened a showroom in Essington to give greater access to our services. It gives customers the chance to receive personal attention and the opportunity to discuss their needs in an unhurried and comfortable environment.
Since opening the showroom we´ve had lots of success with our range of made to measure chairs. As we get older we tend to spend longer periods sitting. A supportive and comfortable chair is a good investment. With our made to measure chairs we make sure the chair fits the person rather than the person having to fit the chair.
Wheeled walking aids are always popular and provide an effective, portable and low cost means of improving mobility indoors or out.
From walking stick to wheelchairs and mobility scooters to stairlifts you can be sure of good advice, quality products and low prices.
