Mobility Showroom FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions about Essington Mobility Showrooms including accessibility, car parking, products availability, and delivery.
Are your mobility showrooms accessible?
Our Mobility Shops in Walsall and Hednesford, Cannock are both wheelchair accessible. We have ramped access at Leamore Walsall and Level Access at Hednesford
Do you have customer parking at your showrooms?
We have customer parking at the front and rear of the shop in Walsall. Public Parking to the front of our shop is available at our Hednesford Shop, and a shared car park to the rear.
Which mobility products can I buy from stock when I visit your showroom?
In both of our Mobility Shops, we carry a large range of everyday items, which can be purchased from stock. We keep a stock of popular items including walking sticks, wheeled walking aids, wheelchairs, and transportable scooters.
Do you offer home visits?
We strongly recommend a visit to one of our stores for expert advice and a chance to find out more about the products you may be interested in. With a store visit, you can try and compare products to make an informed decision. If the person who needs the mobility equipment is unable to visit us, the next best thing is to have a close family member visit us instead. Home visits are sometimes possible but as a last resort.
In the case of stairlifts, a home visit is always necessary to survey the stairs, take measurements and assess suitability for installation.
Can you arrange home delivery for large purchases?
For larger Mobility Aids, including Scooters, Rise and Recline Chairs we can provide a delivery service.
Rise and Recline Chairs are delivered by a 2 man team who position, set up, and instruct the user on use, before removing and taking away all packaging for disposal.
